Terms
Last updated 31 July 2026. These terms apply when you buy or use Soft Clipper: what one licence covers, how many computers it can run on, and the limits of our liability if something goes wrong.
1. The licence
Buying Soft Clipper grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software on one computer. 1 licence = 1 PC, activated online, then works offline. You may move the licence between computers by releasing it from the old one first.
2. What you may not do
- Share, resell, rent or publish the application files or your licence key.
- Run one licence on more than one computer at a time.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the software, except where law permits it regardless of contract.
- Circumvent or tamper with licence activation.
A licence found in use on multiple machines may be suspended without refund.
3. Your content and your responsibility
You are responsible for having the right to process any video you put through the software. Soft Clipper is a tool for repurposing material you own or are authorised to edit. It is not a means of copying other people's work, and using it that way breaches these terms as well as the rights of whoever owns the material.
4. Third-party services
AI features require your own Google Gemini API key and are subject to Google's terms and pricing. We are not responsible for their availability, their output, or charges you incur with them. If a third-party platform changes in a way that breaks a feature, we will fix it where we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee any external service will continue to work.
5. Price and payment
The price is $39 (USD), charged once. International card payments are processed by Stripe. Customers paying by bank transfer or wallet receive a PKR quote calculated from the displayed USD price using the latest available State Bank of Pakistan weighted-average offer rate. The rate, PKR amount and expiry are shown before any transfer is made.
A bank-payment submission is not confirmation that money was received. The licence is issued only after the transaction ID and incoming credit have been verified. Applicable taxes are added at checkout where required.
6. Refunds
Fourteen days from purchase, no reason required — see the refund policy. Refunded licences are deactivated.
7. Updates
Updates to the version you purchased are included. A future major version may be offered as a paid upgrade; the version you bought continues to work regardless.
8. Warranty and liability
The software is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose — always review clips before publishing them. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
