Soft Clipper is a desktop app for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), delivered as a ~160 MB ZIP you extract and run. There is no cloud account to create — the licence key in your purchase email is the whole setup.

You need a licence first

The download link is sent with your key when you buy. That is the only place it comes from — there is no public installer to pass around.

Setting it up

  1. Buy a licence

    Pay $49 once. Your licence key arrives by email within a minute, along with a download link.

  2. Extract the ZIP

    There is no installer. Right-click the downloaded ZIP, choose Extract All, and put the folder somewhere permanent — Documents is fine, the Downloads folder is not.

  3. Run Soft Clipper.exe

    Open the extracted folder and run the exe. Windows may warn about an unrecognised publisher on new releases — choose More info, then Run anyway.

  4. Paste your key

    On first launch Soft Clipper asks for the licence key from your email. It activates online once and then works without a connection.

  5. Add your Gemini key

    In Settings, paste a Google Gemini API key. It is free to create, and it is what powers moment detection and transcription.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free trial?
No trial build, but there is a 14-day refund. Buy it, use it properly on a real video, and if it does not fit, email us for a full refund.
Is there an installer?
No. Soft Clipper ships as a ZIP you extract and run — nothing is written to your system folders and nothing appears in Add or Remove Programs. To uninstall, delete the folder.
Windows says the publisher is unrecognised. Is that normal?
Yes, on new releases. Code-signing reputation builds over time, and a fresh release starts without it. Choose More info and then Run anyway, or check the file on VirusTotal first if you would rather be sure.
Where can I find my licence key again?
In the purchase email. If it is gone, email support from the address you paid with and we will resend it.
Can I install it on a second computer?
Not on the same licence — 1 licence = 1 PC, activated online, then works offline. You can release the licence from one machine and activate it on another, which is the supported way to move to a new PC.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), 8 GB RAM recommended, no GPU required. Rendering uses your processor, so a faster CPU means faster exports, but no graphics card is required.
